Unitron Hearing Aids
Combining design and technology, Unitron fits hearing improvement into your life with an easy, enjoyable experience. Unitron is based in Canada, established in 1964, and is part of Sonova – a global hearing company. Their user-centric product designs have won multiple Red Dot design awards. Here are some of the latest Unitron hearing aid models we recommend for listeners.
The Tempus hearing platform features SoundCore technology, four features working together to make fluid adjustments in every listening environment. SpeechPro helps understand speech and where is it coming from. Spatial Awareness creates a more natural, realistic sound experience that reduces hearing effort. Sound Nav identifies and classifies signals into different environments, including four unique types of conversation environments. SoundConductor balances adaptive features for the clearest speech in each environment.
The Moxi Fit family has recently been upgraded to Tempus. Moxi Fit hearing aids use a 312 battery for a smaller, yet capable receiver-in-canal (RIC) solution. Five performance levels are available: T Pro, T 800, T 700, T 600, and T 500. The premium T Moxi Fit Pro handles 7 environments with all of the SoundCore capability.
All Moxi Fit models feature a telecoil and push button control. Another unique feature is AntiShock 2, which provides dampening of sudden loud noises without blurring other sounds. The uControl 2.0 app on iOS or Android helps you adjust your hearing aids and share performance information with your audiologist via the Log It All data logging. Streaming audio can be added using the uStream or uDirect 3 external accessory.
For more convenience, rechargeability has been added with the Moxi Fit R. Any Moxi Fit can be converted into a rechargeable device by replacing the battery door and battery, working with the ZPower charging cradle. Batteries can be swapped quickly between rechargeable or disposable as needed.
