Oticon Hearing Aids
Opening up a world of possibilities is what Oticon does. With BrainHearing support, listeners hear better and remember more with less effort, and are more connected to their everyday devices. We specialize in fitting and programming digital hearing aids – here is one of the latest Oticon hearing aid models we recommend for listeners.
An open sound experience for listeners means that hearing aids are able to bring in and process multiple sound sources, providing a more accurate picture of your surroundings. The Oticon Opn features the Velox chipset for ultra-high performance processing. The OpenSound Navigator software analyzes sound from all directions more than 100 times per second to establish the setting. Then, OpenSound Navigator balances those sounds and reduces noise.
Opn also features the TwinLink radio, with two dedicated communications systems – one for binaural processing, and one for wireless connectivity. With binaural processing, left and right ear hearing aids talk to each other wirelessly, helping orient listeners and locate multiple sounds. With wireless connectivity, the Opn is a Made for iPhone device for hands-free calling and audio streaming.
Another unique feature of Opn is its connectivity to the Internet, via IFTTT (If This Then That). Using the Oticon ON app and IFTTT, which also provides remote control for the Opn hearing aids, listeners can create notifications such as a hearing aid battery is low, the washer has finished the laundry, or a doorbell is ringing.
Opn is available in both a miniRITE style for mild to moderate hearing loss, a miniRITE-T with a telecoil, and a BTE13 style for moderate to profound hearing loss. All units have Tinnitus SoundSupport technology standard, and Opn comes in three performance levels with increasing BrainHearing support. With a ZPower kit, the Opn miniRITE style can be converted to a rechargeable solution.
For technology savvy listeners, Oticon Opn is a great solution – let’s talk about if it’s right for you.
